  The Unforgivable Menace of Israeli Apartheid: Israeli Settlers Impose Fascistic Intimidation on Palestinians   By David Starr   Even the slightest criticism of Israel and its ultra-nationalist policies would compel hardline supporters of Israel to whip out the antisemitic card. It is the go-to tactic to try and discourage people from expressing anything negative about Israel. Such is the denial of hardliners.   The Anti-Defamation League is one source supporting Israel that may be in denial. The ADL  published a paper  attempting to counter criticisms of Israel being a “Settler Colonialist Enterprise.” Its tone was sophisticated and provided intelligent examples of comparing empires with Israel. There was mention of the European colonial empires and their subjugating native peoples in places like the Middle East, Asia and Africa; and stealing natural resources from the indigenous.    The purpose of this comparison was to show that Jews were/are not like those who imposed colonialism

  United States Hypocrisy Toward the World is Another Way of Saying, ‘Don’t Do as We Do, Do as We Say’ By David Starr   In February 2023, the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken briefly met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and proceeded to give him a “moral” lecture on Russia’s decision to suspend its role in a nuclear arms treaty, and on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They were in India for the Group of 20 summit.   USA Today   quoted  Blinken who spoke at a news conference during the summit: “I told the foreign minister, ‘End this war of aggression. Engage in meaningful diplomacy that can produce a just and durable peace.’” This kind of naked hypocrisy can tend to baffle the mind. The U.S. was conducting an act of aggression in 2003 when the Bush Jr. regime lied its way into starting a war with Iraq. Blinken’s lecturing Lavrov about diplomacy was a hollow gesture.
