The ISIS-K Terrorist Attack in Russia By David Starr There are religious fanatics of varying stripes, such as those in the Christian and Islamic faiths. Both of these types of fanatics are dangerous and have proved it. Only that Christian fanatics are more dangerous since they are closer to a vast array of weapons, for example, in the United States. But Islamic fanatics have done their share of damage. The recent attack in late March next to Moscow could prove they can be just as dangerous. The terrorist group, the Islamic State Khorasan Provence (ISIS-K) is said to have admitted to conducting the attacks in Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, outside of Moscow. According to CNN , “Since November, the US has received a stream of intelligence that ISIS-K was determined to mount an attack in Russia, sources told CNN, and passed those warnings on to Moscow.” Joshua Keating, a senior correspondent at the Vox publication, writes : “In fact, the horrific attack has a

AIPAC’s Intimidation Of U.S. Politicians By David Starr For years, it’s been a virtual tradition for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) to splurge money on U.S. politicians to get them to fully support Israel regardless of the consequences for Palestinians. But it is officially called supporting U.S.-Israel relations. And the relationship between the two is compared to a parent (the U.S.) giving in to a spoiled child (Israel). The U.S. has given a lot of aid to Israel for decades, both economically and militarily. For example, Israel has received $130 billion in U.S. aid since its founding in order to strengthen its military to defend it from terrorist, or “terrorist” acts. Both the Democrats and the Republicans have been receiving significant campaign funds from AIPAC. So, regardless of party affiliation, AIPAC has given to those who kowtow to the interests of AIPAC and thus Israel. In 2024, AIPAC is focusing on the Democratic primaries in order to

The Return of Firebrand George Galloway By David Starr He’s been called a “firebrand” and “disrupter” for taking political stands that worry the British establishment. After a stunning by-election victory in Britain, specifically in the town of Rochdale, George Galloway has returned to become a member of parliament in the House of Commons. Highlighting Galloway’s electoral campaign was his stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict. He declared that his victory was for Gaza, which has suffered an Israeli “blitzkrieg” with heavy bombing and shooting by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF). Now, Palestinians have a forceful voice in the British parliament to challenge the establishment on its own stand regarding the Israel-Palestine war. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is a tory (conservative) and is thus a supporter of the war; since it’s a habit of conservatives to push for and glorify war. After Galloway’s victory, Sunak stood on the steps of 10 Downing Street in front of a crowd t

The Façade of Supporting Palestinians While Supporting Israel’s War Crimes By David Starr For decades, Republicans and Democrats have lent their full support to Israel regardless of what has happened to the Palestinians. Actually, there were attempts at negotiations over the years between Israelis and Palestinians with the USA being a mediator. But in all that time, the USA didn’t play the role so well. It has given Israel about $3.8 billion in military aid every year while the Palestinians got no military aid. So, the negotiations were pretty much one-sided. Part of the negotiations involved the division of land between the two sides, but Palestinians rejected several potential agreements because of Israel having an advantage of gradually taking more Palestinian land. In recent times, there have been attempts at resolving the conflict, but Israel still has the advantage, with the USA backing it up. The October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas in Southern Israel opened up the confli
