ICE Concentration Camps Must Be Abolished, Along With ICE
Given the sadistic and cruel behavior of the thugs in ICE, with, for example, the killings of Renee God and Alex Pretti, there have been many calls to abolish the abominable entity. In turn, that also goes for the ICE concentration camps.
Showing the usual callousness with their rhetoric, the right-wing have made all sorts of excuses to justify ICE’s actions and the camps. Media Matters gave examples of these excuses. Here is a sampling of them:
Carl Higbie, Newsmax: “ICE agents are coming to get the worst of the worst are somehow the villain here. People who broke our laws to get here…commit half the crime and half of them don’t even speak English.”
Meygan Kelly, podcaster: Referring to the ICE thug who killed Renee Good, Kelly claimed that he was “trying to arrest child molesters and other disgusting violent criminals hurting the children and innocents of Minneapolis. That’s what they’re trying to do.”
Ainsley Earhardt, Fox & Friends: “ICE is trying to arrest violent criminals who are here illegally. And you have people and politicians and protesters that are trying to protect the worst offenders.”
Jesse Watters, Fox: “[Our network is] swimming in mug shots [from migrant criminals]. Have you seen any video of ICE tackling a guy on a lawnmower? Have you seen any video of Homan arresting Jose just watering azaleas?”
Further, The Kyle Kulinski Show presented a segment where Watters praises ICE concentration camps.
Evil is a feature of the right-wing, with its ideological agenda, for example, Project 2025 (which has slithered into 2026). Despite some Republicans now being critical of the Trump regime, they will probably fall in line if Trump barks orders. Additionally, these same Republicans are trying to save their own necks when election time comes around.
Meanwhile, MS NOW showed a segment about migrants who have been detained and are living in inhumane conditions and an immigration lawyer trying to help them.
According to the ACLU, the House of Representatives passed an appropriations bill to heavily fund ICE’s terror spree “with no strings attached, adding to the over $170 billion in taxpayer funds already allocated for immigration enforcement in July 2025.”
Kate Voight, senior policy council at the ACLU, was quoted about the funding:
“The House vote in favor of excessive funding with no meaningful accountability measures is wildly out of touch with polling that shows the majority of voters oppose ICE and Border Patrol attacks on our communities. The bill fails to rein in ICE and Border Patrol at a time when they are engaged in an unprecedented assault on our rights, safety, and democratic way of life.
“The billions of funding in this bill will only embolden ICE and CBP to continue arresting our neighbors–immigrants and U.S. citizens alike–no matter the costs to our communities, economy, and integrity of our Constitution.”
ICE and its concentration camps can’t last forever. Already, outrage from the masses is spurring on the call to have both abolished. It is just a matter of time.
