Trump and Hegseth’s Fascistic Fanaticism
By David Starr
Incompetent, dumb, the epitome of stupidity…and dangerous. Those are a few negative terms that can accurately describe wannabe tyrant Donald Trump and the Department of War Crimes head Peter Hegseth.
For anyone who is sane, Trump and Hegseth’s war against Iran violates international law as well as the U.S.’s own laws. And it’s not really surprising since U.S. presidents and their supporters have violated these laws for decades when imposing the U.S.’s imperial foreign policy. Especially against countries that are considered to be part of the Global South.
It is past overdue to get rid of the Trump regime. Trump and Hegseth have repeatedly threatened Iran in the mostly vile ways. That adds to the crimes the regime has committed.
The Japan Times put it in a truthful manner from an article it published: “Threatening to destroy Iran’s electricity grid and to reduce the country of 90 million to destitution, Donald Trump is shattering precedent by not just accepting but also gloating about acts seen as potential war crimes.”
Trump was quoted as saying that, “Over the next two to three weeks, we are going to bring them back to the Stone Ages where they belong.” Hegseth boasted about “death and destruction from the sky all day long” and in a further fit of barbarism, stated he rejected “stupid rules of engagement.” These are the words of psychotic criminals, another term that can accurately describe that gruesome twosome.
Hegseth was also quoted by the LA Progressive regarding a CNN report that Iran’s taking of the Strait of Hormuz was underestimated by the Trump regime. Hegseth was defensive, saying, “Patently ridiculous,” and we “don’t need to worry about it.” But CNN got its report correct, citing multiple sources.
As for CNN, Hegseth claimed that “the sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.” But quoting the LA Progressive, “Ellison has already proven himself an unreliable steward of journalistic independence at CBS news.” Ellison no doubt wants CNN to be a MAGA mouthpiece media outlet. So, any criticism of the Trump regime by a CNN journalist would face a backlash and censorship.
Hegseth claimed that the United States “never targets civilians.” This would be laughable if it wasn’t so tragic. Evidently, the U.S. empire did bomb an elementary school in Iran, killing about 165 people, many being children. More evidence: the killing of about 157 people in 40 small boats because Trump, Hegseth, and the rest of their ilk claimed that the victims were “narco-terrorists.” But they didn’t back it up with evidence.
More ridiculous claims from Hegseth don’t hold up as evidence. Quite the contrary. Hegseth said, “We didn’t start this war, but under president Trump we’re finishing it.” Further, “America is winning decisively, devastatingly, and without mercy. Further, “we will show no quarter for our enemies.” Meaning, attempted extermination, which of course is a war crime.
Jack Cocchiarella talks about Hegseth on his show about the Dept. of War Crimes head being paranoid that he’ll be fired. Further, U.S. troops have been rebelling against Hegseth because of the latter’s illegal orders.
On Secular Talk, host Kyle Kulinski shows a segment on CNN with Majority Report host Emma Vigeland verbally dueling with MAGA morons about the Iran War. She effectively made her points.
It is long past the time to “vanquish” the incompetent, the dumb, the epitome of stupidity…and the dangerous that characterizes the Trump regime. And Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth would be the first to go.
